Body Mechanix is a multidisciplinary clinic and offers a ‘one stop’ Health shop approach to treating your pain or health issue.
I formed Body Mechanix Tga Ltd in 1999, after arriving back from journeying the globe and deciding that it was high time I entered the “real world” and establish my own business. After purchasing a cute little cottage in the central high profile site of Cameron Road, I came up with a name which best described my personal philosophy, that being, to effectively “fix” mechanical problems with the body, using “hands on” techniques.
In 2007, the new rear building was established and morphed into a multi-disciplinary Health Clinic, incorporating Podiatry, Osteopathy and Massage. I feel that my personal point of difference, is combining my clinical nutrition and exercise science, with my physio skill set. This allows me to treat more holistically, by not only looking at the client’s physical injury but also any related health or medical conditions.
The most valuable thing my years of experience have taught me is that there is no one particular “fix” for every problem. Rather, each person needs a uniquely tailored approach to correct their injury and then become “empowered” by self managing their condition with prescribed exercise and health advice.
